Zee Strengthens Advisory Council with New Appointments

The Independent Investigation Committee (IIC) was renamed after the Zee Entertainment Enterprises board reinforced and enlarged its Independent Advisory Committee (IAC).

To safeguard the interests of shareholders and other stakeholders, the IIC shall thoroughly investigate all claims made by regulatory bodies against the business, its promoters, and important managerial people. After the exercise is over, the committee will report back to the board with its findings and suggested course of action.

The committee is able to designate or employ any impartial outside organisation to help it carry out its mandate.

The committee was established on February 23 in order to counteract market rumours and false information that have destroyed investor money.
